Ran with Paula and Renee this morning.  Took extra long getting ready because it was time to break out the tights, under armour, fleece, gloves, ear warmer and reflecters - I am not ready for this!  We had a slow 3 with Renee and then 3 more at a little bit quicker pace - still in the 9's though.  I can tell I still have a long way to go before I am 100%.  My left hamstring is sooo tight and my right calf is still tender.

Way to keep going Jody. I've been a bit of a slacker since marathon day. I'm back at it though. Way to be.

Jody,

Great job in St. George. I can't believe the cold weather is here again! Great job getting up early and braving the cold. I wimped out and opted for the lunch-hour run. See you at the group.

I need to go BUY all of that stuff. I do not even know where to begin.

Great job!

Kelli - Start with tights and a base layer (under armour) - they are the most important. A good pair of tights is priceless....... Until you see my fat behind in them tomorrow and you might think something else.

So, tights on the bottom and under armour on the top?? And then what? I have a thingy for my ears and gloves (for my nightly walks), but that is about it!

I never wear anything tight on the bottom, so I have avoided those darn tights! Plus, I have no waist, so things like that fall off of me. They will have to be tight.

Can I get all of this at Sports Authority? It is right by Chick Fil A (dinner tonight) so that will be easy. Scott got tights and a matching top at Costco, but they only had them for men. Bummer.

I have to tie my tights tight - which is unsightly but holds them up. I wore my Pearl Izumi tights all last winter and never had to double up. SA has Under Armour brand I use two different weights - Heavy for really Cold - below 22; and light for regular cold. I wear a fleece jacket over the top and I also have a couple of different weights for really cold and regular cold. It all together doesn't look good, but I believe in being warm rather than looking good this time of year.

Will you be my personal shopper???

Okay, I will check it out. Who knows what I will be wearing tomorrow morning!

JOdy, how much does the Armour weight, that could be the problem. Did you and Paul slay dragons this morning, chasing windmills. Gotta keep those WOW runs fun.
