Nice easy run with Paula and Renee.  My legs are pretty tired so another easy paced run is in order tomorrow.  I got a blister on Saturday on my second to the last toe and it is killing me.  I have never really gotten blisters before so I am not sure what to do.  I need to figure out what to do before Saturday.

Happy Running!

Nice running Jody! Do you wear good socks? Since I switched to Balegas and Wrightsocks I'm pretty much done with blisters... Also, using glide on your feet can help. And if that doesn't work, have you tried moleskin? It won't work if the blister is big though... I hope it gets better soon!

Good workout girl! Ok Im sure your blisters are from your miles going up. Just take it easy and taper a bit for Hobblecreek. You have put in some rough miles this week, your body wont falter I promise. I feel a PR for saturday! Oh can you post a couple of your miles to Lucias blog, lol I didnt have enough to get her on the mileage blog.

I put aquaphor, its like vaseline all over my feet and it works pretty good. Take it easy! I will call you on friday on my way up.

I've had a few blisters on my toes as my miles have gone up. One thing I am now noticing is that they are starting to turn into a callous. So even though it's not real pretty, at least it doesn't hurt. I've also noticed that on those same toes my toenails have started growing a little weird. Oh well, no pretty toes for the runners!

I'm looking forward to seeing you on Saturday. I don't know if you will have a cell phone with you or not. I will. If you are going to let me know and I will private message you with my cell number. It might be kind of hard to just run into each other without talking that morning.

Jody, I don't know if you have enough time but when I get blisters (which I oftern do) I pop em' and then wear flip-flops all the time. They dry out pretty fast.

BAND-AIDS! They work for me until they turn into those lovely callouses! I am so sorry, though. I hate blisters!!

great job today---take it easy! I know you will do great Saturday---you are FAST!
