I had to run extra early today because I have to go to the office and I am without a babysitter. Today was a big day, to see how my body handled Saturday's run. I felt really good. I took it fairly easy and did not push the pace more than MP and the effort felt easy. I ended up with 4 MP miles and then 2.5 others.

One of my goals for this week was to get enough sleep each day - Day 1 was not a success. I stayed up too late watching the Olympics and then had too many kids in with us after 3 am. Will try again tonight.

Ave Pace 8:53

PM: 40 min of pool running while the kids swam.  I am never quite sure how this translates into real mileage so I am not counting it, but a good work out.

Happy Running!

Good job Jody! Good luck on the sleep! It's hard to do all that you are doing without a good night's rest!

Thanks for the great dinner last night! We too came home and put the kids to bed so we could relax and watch the Olympics. However, Briggs was having bad dreams or something because it took until about 1:30am for him to sleep peacefully, and thus the mom didn't get a great night either. Good luck tonight!

I think the Olympics are ruining ALL of our sleep :D It is way too exciting!! My baby was up last night too. Maybe they "baby text" eachother and get a "let's wreck moms sleep" fest going every once in a while :D

Great run today!

Jody, I usually count 15 minutes to the mile when pool running.

You are always so good about getting up and going even when you do not get enough sleep! The olympics are so fun to watch. Hey and I dont think Garrett will be coming to the cabin with me next weekend. So GIRL PARTY!
