AM - 21 miles in 2:00:20 at the TOU Marathon (5:43/mile average).
I'm very happy with how this felt, and glad that I pulled the plug before risking wrecked legs. They need more time to harden up - a month of hot/cold 200s and 5K tempos after 8 months of zero fast running doesn't quite get the body adapted to the demands of a full marathon. But that being said, this run was definitely a confidence builder.
Rumor has it that this might be the last edition of the TOU Marathon, which is pretty sad. Such a great race, but the times, they are a-changin'...
