AM - Suicide Chute aka "Country Lane" [1500'].

PM - 8 miles (4 w/ Andrea).

A photo I posted last week revealed an empty parking lot to the untrained eye, but to us it showed that a classic line on Mt Superior was very much still in play. When we drove by on Memorial Day the exit looked to be just wide enough to ski through. Since that might only last a few more days it was either now or never next year. We went up this morning to check it out... parked at the base, booted the couloir at a good clip, skied down with lots of jump turns, and then went to work. It was a fun adventure to start the day (beautiful morning!) and set the tone for some more stoke-chasing this weekend!

AM - Wolverine Cirque, skied Granny Chute twice. Teton-style approach for about a mile before we could start skinning. A little extra effort to get back there, but worth it [2500'].

PM - 7 miles. Ran one mile hard (~3% downhill) in 5:23. Not quite all-out but close.
