AM - 4 miles.

Bike commute (half). New bike stolen. This is not a good trend (two bikes jacked in four weeks). But in the grand scheme of things, hardly the end of the world. I can't really get mad about anything right now...

The promised "better" picture from last weekend... and the words that go along with it.

The stolen bike is gone with the wind as far as I know.

Andrea found a good deal on KSL for a newer (still used) mountain bike that I ended up buying, and I really like it, so it all worked out OK.

All the "homeless" that live along the Jordan River Parkway where I run in the morning all have beautiful new bikes. I always wondered who was providing them with those bikes. I am sure they appreciate you for that.

That would be two bikes in less than 4 weeks, both times in broad daylight. Whoever is doing this is using professional equipment.

I'm in the midst of a walk of shame home at the moment, so I can't post a proper link, but if you click on the wasatch and beyond button in my sidebar, you'll see why I'm not TOO upset about this whole situation. There are more important recent events that overshadow a(nother) lost mountain bike ;-)

That being said, I was totally shredding the slickrock on Sunday and even faster than Andrea at times on my new bike, so I'm sad it's already gone!
