I love his attitude and feel very fortunate that I can echo these same sentiments about both skiing and running. Andrea's response to watching this segment was simply "he sounds like you" which I took as a very high compliment.

When I was 21 yrs old, I moved to Durango CO. I was a snowboarder from the Northeast in search of Western powder. Boy did I ever find it.... best 4 years of my life. Wolf Creek, Telluride, etc.
I was also lucky enough to spend a winter in Truckee CA. I worked in the ski rental shop at Alpine Meadows and would ride every day at lunch and all weekend. I'm with George..... don't get hung up on the stress of life and be grateful for all the beauty.

That is really cool. So you "get it" when I express my excitement over chasing the powder days. And you also understand why SW Colorado is my favorite part of a state that has lots of great parts :-)
I'm hoping to get out to Truckee / Squaw this spring. They have gotten pounded lately.
