PM - 5 miles w/ Andrea. We raced the last 0.3 on Murphys Lane.

Bike commute

Came home to a great surprise... Andrea replaced my generic "Geddes" crayons with a new set of Crayolas!

Crayola is to crayons and Saucony is to running shoes. You can get by with other brands, but you kind of know you are selling yourself short the whole time you are using them.

Crayola certainly is the Cadillac of crayons but if you don't get the 64 pack you are missing out on such colors as Macaroni and Cheese and Purple Mountains Majesty.

Macaroni and Cheese is actually a good color to have when coloring a lion's mane... especially when the lion has mac and cheese all over his mane.

I mainly do animal cartoon tracing/coloring. Turns out you don't need QUITE as much sleep once you stop doing 140 mpw so this is a little hobby I've picked back up recently... should carry me through to ski season.

I can only see like 5 colors so I get the original 8 and save the $$$.

Just shared the macaroni and cheese joke with a class. They thought it was funny. They think a grown man getting excited over crayons is funny too.

Rob - telling crayon jokes is wasting valuable class time that could be spent laser focused on specific preparation for standardized testing. Buckle down!!!

This was done during my homeroom class where no learning takes place. A critical part of the school day.

I'm glad I just read this... during the middle of class!

FYI, the Utah superintendent monitors this blog. I see salary reductions and Geddes crayons in the future.
