AM - 20 mile run/hike from Assiniboine to Sunshine, back the way we came, in 4:29:45. We ran about 15 miles of the trail and it was downright FUN.

PM - Wandered around at Moraine Lake. Spent the night in Lake Louise.

Jake, how did you like Lake Louise? My folks rode their motorcycle up there a couple years ago and had nothing but amazing things to say about it. Your photos are awesome!

I want to go back! We were only in Lake Louise briefly and unfortunately it was rainy the whole time... we spent more time in Banff/Assiniboine and then up in Jasper. There's a ton of cool trails in Lake Louise, and Yoho National Park is only 15 minutes away which supposedly is an absolute gem. Too many things to see/do in only 8 days... you can only really scratch the surface. Had the weather been a little better, we wanted to take a kayak out on Lake Louise or Moraine Lake... the color of the lakes is just stunning. Next time :-)
