Another 9-miler! Don't forget the pillars of xfit.

Good workout yesterday. We could all learn to work with what we got on a given day, versus forcing the pace.

This was a pure crossfit maneuver. Body was EXPECTING to go back to 8, so I threw in this little WOD wrench. I think it worked, because after the run I climbed the goalpost at the high school track across the street like it was no big deal. Prolly will set my sights on a 62 minute 1/2 now.

That's a cool link. I'll have to sit down and read it all over my Saturday morning coffee...

The entire site is mind-boggling.

Well, the dude is a software engineer plus a competitive ultrarunner...I think that combo explains everything.

Yep - ultimate dork!

Jake, I should not have looked at that site one day before I fly to Boston to track my race with the watch he rates the worst...the 620!

From Kam on Fri, Apr 18, 2014 at 12:07:23 from 68.66.163.179

That website is the bomb. I can't wait to hear someone claim, "The course measured short" or "The course was too long."

From Jake K on Fri, Apr 18, 2014 at 13:30:45 from 174.232.129.20

James - there will be 100% accurate mile marks on the road. Boston is the most accurately measured course in the world. But if you go by any Garmin, it will read 26.4 - 26.5, guaranteed.

Good luck!

From SlowJoe on Fri, Apr 18, 2014 at 20:15:19 from 66.69.93.8

Ahh, Jake you beat me to the punch. They even have the mile numbers permanently painted on the streets on the Boston route! Auto lap...OFF.
