I have been struggling with a calf injury and haven't run for about a month.  I have been able to bike and do the elliptical without any problems.  I thought I would get back to blogging since I did my first run in awhile.  After a lot of stretching I started off easy and didn't have too many problems.  My calf started tightening up so I stopped and stretched then felt better and completed the run.  I am going to try to get back to running very slowly so will continue to bike/elliptical while adding in a few runs to the routine.  If I can get back to full time running by the first of the year I will be happy.

Best of luck in the recovery with your calf, praying for a full and speed return.

Hope all is well with your family!

Thanks Jeff! I have really missed running and hope it will work out this time without getting a set back.
