Somerset, KY: Tried running again today to see if my leg was better.  It was tinder the whole way and then had a sharp pain again right before I got back.  I am not sure what the problem is but when it hurts it is bad and really effects my stride.  I need to figure this one out so I can get it better.  I feel like I am falling apart.  I went so long with no injury and now it is one after another.  Not happy right now.

Tried running again this morning to see if my leg was better after several days of rest.  I started off easy to see how it would feel.  It was pretty good for about 1/2 mile but I started to have some dull pain and just decided to come back and not cause it to flare up again.  This is real frustrating.  I will continue to stretch, strengthen and rest and see if I can get back soon.

Another unsuccessful run.  I tried to see how my leg was doing and it seemed to be going ok.  I just had some dull pain for a little over 2 miles but then all the sudden it just tighter up and starting hurt to the point where I couldn't take a step.  I stopped and massaged it for a few minutes and it felt better.  I tried to run again but the pain shot down my leg.  After stretching and massaging it some more I was able to walk back home but every time I tried to run on it it hurt really bad.  I am going to have to go to the sports doc on this one.  I am as discouraged as I have ever been with my running.  I feel I have lost so much and can't seem to get back to running without some other injury popping up. Not sure what my future is as a runner at this point.  It is very frustrating!!
