I planned a tempo run and since the roads are still icy I thought it would be best to run fast on the treadmill. Started off with a 2 mile warmup which went good then ran 5 mile tempo. I increased the pace a little each mile and felt good throughout. Only problem was I felt a little bit upset in my stomach from eating too soon prior to the run. Other than that felt great. Here are the splits:

1st - 6:58

2nd - 6:49

3rd - 6:46

4th - 6:42

5th - 6:38

This is a much better start to this week than the last couple. I hope I can keep it up.

Great start to the week, keep it up. Hope you are surviving your winter storm.

Thanks! It is snowing and very windy today so another day on the treadmill. I see that you are spending a fair amount of time on the treadmill as well. It won't be long until we can get out and enjoy the spring air!
