Total Distance
6.60

6.60 in 53:10.  About 8:03 avg pace.  Colder than yesterday, but still bearable.  Legs still didn't feel great.  Wonder if it is the cold that is making them sore a few miles into the run.

I find on cold mornings it's really hard to get the legs to loosen up, especially below 20 degrees. I usually end up just running alot slower when it's that cold. Case in point - today I ran this morning, then just again later just before lunch. My ave heart rate for the early run was 149 with a 8:39 pace, but the later run was ave HR 148 with pace at 8:11. The later/faster run actually felt a little easier.

I think temps for the later run were around 33.

Yeah, I agree Tom. It's just frustrating to feel like I'm working hard, but just not going that fast. I think I've also lost a little fitness over the last month or so too. Good miles for you lately. The doubles add up the mileage pretty good.
