WU? CD? I do not know what these things mean---but awesome speed work! I am going to try that one next week. I have to copy other people's speed work because I have no clue how to do it on my own.

Kelli - WU and CD: warmup; cooldown. I saw it on another blog and found it to be a nice shortcut. It took me a couple of reads before I realized what they meant by it.

You must know something about speed work, because you're quite fast!

Really, I rarely do speed work. I have one speed for indoor, another for outdoor, one for running alone, one for running in groups, and one for racing!

Hmmm....I will attempt 7:04 for 1/4th of a mile on the treadmill and then we will talk. However, I am only going to do it once. =:o

Kelli - last week you did a series of 1/2 mile intervals @ 7:13 pace. The week before that you did 20! that's 20, 1 minute intervals @ 6:40 pace!

I don't think you'll have much trouble hitting a 7:04 1/4 mile a dozen times or so.

And I almost died, especially on the 20's! Okay, though, you are building my self esteem. I guess I do not realize what I do. But, really, I almost died.
