"Engaging in a little suffering — however self-imposed, arbitrary and contrived — before breakfast each morning tends to demand some humility and injects some marked relief into the rest of the day, making things sharper, more inspired, more immediately aware of the powerful presence of being. And that seems really worthwhile." A. Krupicka

"I cruised down hills, churned up hills, and floated over the asphalt, existing in a world that seemed to lack the confinements of such ubiquitous rivets as time, obligation, or pain. I knew then that this was destined to be one of those serendipitous runs for which so many of
us strive yet so rarely achieve." J. Nevels

I think you are kicking my trash in miles this week. WHAT TO DO??? Maybe I will go out and run 30 tomorrow? Nah---you win!

So, are you feeling GREAT??? Ready for this ultra? Your speeds sure have picked up this past summer.

Just was looking at the website for your ultra. Just as I remember that area, it is amazingly beautiful! You are going to have a great run!

Kelli - this is only possible because you're starting your taper for St. George. I feel good lately, I'm hoping it lasts through Goblin Valley. My only expectation for the 50k is to finish.

Lysa - thanks - it's the PBR.

Auntieem - Yeah, I love that area. Thanks, I hope it's a good day!

OH, you will finish---no worries! Glad you are feeling good, you truly have become quite speedy.
