17 miles / easy pace. From home - LPT/fairground/KWP out and back. Started around 8 AM and it got kind of warm toward the end of the run. Embarrassed to report that this is my longest single run since the Buffalo Run at the end of March. 9:05 avg.

I'm embarrassed to have you listed on Favorite Blogs-- j/k. That's a great Saturday run, but yeah, I'll bet you were too hot by the end. On the topic of long runs, it's tough to want to go long unless there is a race specific goal on the calendar driving the effort. I haven't jumped up over 13 miles since April, so I guess we are in the same boat. Time to register for a 50k or marathon, I guess.

Thanks Kam - yeah, having a specific reason to run long, besides the simple "joy" of running long, really makes a difference in motivation. Nice job on the midnight half last weekend!
