"Engaging in a little suffering — however self-imposed, arbitrary and contrived — before breakfast each morning tends to demand some humility and injects some marked relief into the rest of the day, making things sharper, more inspired, more immediately aware of the powerful presence of being. And that seems really worthwhile." A. Krupicka

"I cruised down hills, churned up hills, and floated over the asphalt, existing in a world that seemed to lack the confinements of such ubiquitous rivets as time, obligation, or pain. I knew then that this was destined to be one of those serendipitous runs for which so many of
us strive yet so rarely achieve." J. Nevels

Nice 1/2 mile repeats!!! That is a super fast speed. I attempted close to the same speeds today on a TM and almost died, I do not think I could do it outside!

Nice workout.

wow.

half mile repeats scare me. give me long intervals or tempo runs any day, but half mile repeats just seem to beat me up.

you must be getting ready for something... what races do you have coming up?

I'm running a "leprechaun lope" 5K on the 13th. The middle of April is the Salt Lake 1/2 marathon. Then Ogden full in May.

I forgot about the SL Half! Oh, that is such a good and fast race. You are going to do great there.

Sounds like great 5K training! Are you working on a fast mile? I am hoping for another 1 mile time trial soon; I will begin begging for one once the 50K is over.

You are Mr. Speedy.

Kelli - that's great news about the course being fast. I've never run it.

Em - One of my goals is to run a 6 minute mile this year.

Carolyn - I wish. But thanks.
