"Engaging in a little suffering — however self-imposed, arbitrary and contrived — before breakfast each morning tends to demand some humility and injects some marked relief into the rest of the day, making things sharper, more inspired, more immediately aware of the powerful presence of being. And that seems really worthwhile." A. Krupicka

"I cruised down hills, churned up hills, and floated over the asphalt, existing in a world that seemed to lack the confinements of such ubiquitous rivets as time, obligation, or pain. I knew then that this was destined to be one of those serendipitous runs for which so many of
us strive yet so rarely achieve." J. Nevels

I made a sticker chart for my 4-yr-old to help her stop sucking her thumb. I wrote "Don't forget. You can do it." When I told her what I was writing she said, "Don't put exclamation points cause I don't want you yelling at me." Ha!!!!!

Way to run 10 miles! good job

Have i told you before that your little average every day running has gotten speedy? Love it!

Have you thought anymore about the Antelope Island race?? I think you should do it. They are having a training run in February, you should come!

From JD on Wed, Jan 26, 2011 at 18:53:21 from 70.96.78.149

Thanks Stacie and Kelli!

Yeah, I'm considering the Buffalo Run. I have such a hard time committing to races! Maybe I should just sign up for the 25k and participate. You have really laid down some awesome base miles these last few months. Looking strong for the 50 miler!

From Kelli on Wed, Jan 26, 2011 at 19:15:15 from 71.219.84.215

BUT it has obviously pooped me out!

Maybe if you came and did the 14 mile training run you would be hooked?
