"Engaging in a little suffering — however self-imposed, arbitrary and contrived — before breakfast each morning tends to demand some humility and injects some marked relief into the rest of the day, making things sharper, more inspired, more immediately aware of the powerful presence of being. And that seems really worthwhile." A. Krupicka

"I cruised down hills, churned up hills, and floated over the asphalt, existing in a world that seemed to lack the confinements of such ubiquitous rivets as time, obligation, or pain. I knew then that this was destined to be one of those serendipitous runs for which so many of
us strive yet so rarely achieve." J. Nevels

Is that 8 an edit? Or am I losing it. Nice going, 8 is always great

You're not losing it - I logged the run a bit after the weather comment.

life is rough.

Thanks for the support everyone. You know, it's the mark of true dedication when a runner (such as myself) has the will to get out and run everyday, even when Mother Nature is throwing curve balls like she has the last 6 weeks. But I'll put my head down and persevere through day after day of 60 to 70 degree temps and sunshine. My only solace is my hope and belief that you as well, will be suffering along with me. Together we can share the burden of light cool breezes and birds chirping happily in the sunshine while we toil along on our daily runs. Good luck, I'll be praying for you!

Yeah, I think the running temps have been perfect out there. I'll take a few more weeks of this.
