Attaboy. Not as slow as I was suspecting but that'll do. :)

We started at 8:30PM or so, so I had some time to loosen my legs. Had I run this morning and this afternoon by myself I would have been above 8 minute pace. It's funny, at times my easy pace is much faster than it ever was, but for the most part it's not changed that much (workouts and races have of course).

Camille Herron is very good on this. She says something like "I could run 7:30s every day, but my quality workouts would suffer." Instead she estimates that she runs 8-9 minute pace (she doesn't run with a Garmin for easy runs, so it is estimated). Other folks on the blog are good examples. They not often run below 7 minutes for easy runs, which suggests I should be running 8 minutes or slower, which isn't far off, unless I am doing a single that is more than 10 miles (it pains me to take more than 80 minutes for 10 miles)
