PM: 15.3 miles quite easy.

A light dusting of snow for the first snow of the season. Mostly just wet and muddy. Forbidden Drive was a Zoo. At one point there were 8 Huskies blocking the trail. Two different sets of owners. They could have harnessed a full team.

+ stretching and psuhups (pre-bed)

8 huskies!?!? That actually is a zoo's worth.

Of various ages too. I report whatever I find interesting to Megan and I sometimes sound like I am making things up. For instance...

1. There's a woman who uses a very small pony to pull her in this old wooden cart on Forbidden Drive (horses are permitted).

2. There's a dude who is about 6'1"-6'3" who has thinish dreads that are sort of in a twisted braid that is so long that it bounces off his heals. He has a headband that pulls them up so they don't drag on the ground. He sometimes wraps them around his head in his headband so that you can see them. He also carries a metal yellow rod of some kind.

3. A hipster shooting a bow and arrow into a tree next to a parking lot at one of the trail heads (Nicholas Cage/Weatherman style)

The guy with the metal rod sounds pretty cool. I think I automatically like anyone who carries a staff or cudgel.

Eclectic.. We had a drum circle in Liberty park at one time here on Sunday. Wood chip trail was the place to go for recovery jogs.

there's a woman here in atlanta who walks up and down the beltline trail playing a violin. she's really good!
