Man, you looked strong at that finish. It's such a good feeling to come through the line and have enough in the tank for a fist pump. And hold off the wheelchair!

I didn't take the partial but Strava had it at 6:00 pace, which seemed about right. I tried to really crush the last half mile or so but my legs would start to lock every time I got the crowd going and tried to sprint. Not as fast as my Sugarloaf finish (5:44ish). I recovered fairly quickly except for the coughing.

Oh, I'm pointing at the clock :-)

Still super happy about that race. Working on getting my shorter distance and weight down for now. Maybe a Sugarloaf if I'm feeling frisky. It's just on the side of too aided even though it's not crazy (the downhill is just sweetly placed). Maybe 3-5 minutes faster than a dead flat course.

She almost hit me! Or maybe I was the jerk for cutting her off.

It would be good to keep that option open... that's mid-May(ish)? So no need to make a decision too early... you could decide 6-8 weeks out and do enough marathon work to be ready.
