Newtone - 9.34 in 90 minutes. Goal was to run for 80-90 minutes no matter how slow. That does it I guess.

Is your hip feeling better?

From Jason D on Sat, Nov 23, 2013 at 22:02:38 from 24.1.80.94

It feels about the same as it did for my final Indy workout, but not as bad as it did 2-3 days after. Unstable until I get moving, such is why I'm on the treadmill. I don't carry a phone and I don't want to get stuck if it acts up. It's getting cold! So I walk to and from the gym. This week it has felt decent in the mornings, which have been the worst. I'm icing now but I haven't needed to the last several days. Didn't any pain reliever the last two days.

I'm nervous to run outside until it's closer to 100%. I just don't want to get too far into the Boston buildup. It's a mile to the gym and it takes extra time to shower etc.

The short answer, I'm doing better and need to continue to add days , stretching, and strengthening but I've been a baby and lazy. I'm able to exercise and that's why I started this crazy running business.

Thanks for checking, Andrea.

One day I ran about 13 miles when it was super cold out. I was getting pretty dizzy like I should stop running but knew I couldn't stop because I would freeze. I'm guessing I wasn't used to the cold thin air or something. Not a good position to be in... Point being - Good call on the gym.

It's basically all I can do at this point. But you look at a treadmill in a new way if you can't run outside, but you can get 60-90 minutes of aerobic activity to is running-like. I am guess when I get better the gym will still look pretty good considering this winter looks like it may be cold!! But I am a Maine boy and I recall several 8 mile tempos in the close-to single digits (or single digits with wind chill.)
