Evening: 8.5 miles. HR 155.

Trails with the guys. Felt surprisingly good. Dew point down and humidity down. Didn't feel easy but I was comfortable. I should have run with them more.

Megan and I went to Center City to hang out and say goodbye to the city part of the city. Getting the moving truck tomorrow.

Good luck with the move - seems like you are going to miss a lot from Philly though.

Good luck and be safe on the move to Michigan.

I remember those days...young, chasing success and opportunities around the country. It's definitely more exciting than the settled phase of life. You'll be nostalgic about it one day.

Have fun and good luck!

Thanks. I'm driving a 16-foot truck, which isn't massive but the last one I drove was a 12 footer. Don't tell anyone from Maine; they might pull my card. I plan to take it very conservatively.

Incidentally I saw a pick on Strava of Ben True (a Maine boy) running a chainsaw. I'm not sure I could do that.

I don't recommend running with chainsaws.

Especially at 4:18 pace over 5k. Man, that's fast. That's a hard set of 6 x 200 strides for me, only reaching that pace on the last 1-2. And sans chainsaw for sure.

He's running Beach to Beacon this weekend, which I am sadly missing after running it the last three years. He does amazingly well for training where he lives (no stints at elevation and so on).
