Lunch: 5.25 miles easy. HR 137.

Not the 17.76 mile long run last year, but I'll definitely take my speed from this year.

Short 25 minute walk with Remy in the Wissahickon. I think I have officially taught him how to chill out around dogs he doesn't know. I should ask for a raise.

PM: Off. Low mileage this week but I am worlds better than where I started the week and I'm happy about that. Get back to business next week, hopefully run the mile on the track on Tuesday, maybe a workout later in the week or a long run. Get my mileage back up, get my doubles in, get in my stretching and core.

Happy 4th of July!

No 4th of July "Firecracker 5k" for you?

Unfortunately, no. The lack of Philly 5ks was rather odd. Might have been looking in the wrong place. Happy 4th.

Yes, Philadelphia played a fairly key role back in 1776.

Sounds like that dog never had it so good...long trail walks, adventures with other dogs..

Hopefully you've gotten some pop back in your legs in time for the mile - should be fun.
