Unscheduled day off. Megan and I got up late. Late lunch, early beer and that pretty much did it. Picked up the marriage license. Call it family time. I'll see what the gents are doing for a track workout tomorrow and see if the UT track is open. Or maybe a medium LR and hit something faster back in town Friday.

Enjoy the family time, there are more important things than running! Congrats on the upcoming nuptials, when is the day? This weekend?

That's what I told myself today, Jeff. We are getting married June 21. Spending some time doing a few last minute things because I'm about 3.5 hours away currently. It's quite a production!

Congratulations!

I'll be celebrating my 20th anniversary 11 days after your wedding. Apparently that's a big deal because its a round number.

I thought marriage was the downfall for running... but if you missed a day just due to picking up the LICENSE, you're toast! :-)

Thanks, Rob. I'm not an expert, but start thinking and planning. The good new is you've had 20 years or so to figure it out.

I'm easing her into my insanity, Jake. She's going to see what my training looks like this summer and fall for Philly. 180 miles, 50 x 400, 20 mile AT tempos followed by 800m time trials.

june 2X is the best time for a wedding. two years for us on the 23rd!

good luck with all the last-minute stuff.

Congrats in advance! Don't listen to Jake. In fact, in addition to getting married, some other training enhancers I recommend are kids (preferably triplets), reaching your 30s, and getting a full-time job with long hours. Really lays the foundation for running success - good luck!
