Day off #2. Legs feel pretty good. A bit sore with a touch of tightness in some areas of the quads and hips, but I passed the stair test just fine. There's no doubt a ton of under-the-hood damage, so I am sticking with my (at least) 7 days completely off, other than a little walking. Did about a mile of that after I dropped off the rental. Felt good.

I keep a shiny pair just for marathons, but I think the next marathon I run I will be in flats because I will be leaner, meaner, and faster. I've run ~20 miles in them for half marathon + warm and cool, but I didn't want to take a chance with those hills on Sunday.
