6 miles primarily on the dirt shoulder of 105, averaged 7:46. Did a quarter at MP to stretch the legs at the end.

I've never even thought about doing that, Matt :-) No, I think every runner does. I've even been known to do it while racing. Trying to make sure I am upright and not bent at the waist!
