that's when you just start shouting to people that you're on your 90th mile for the week.

Hey, what is wrong with old guy pace?

From Jason D on Sat, Mar 05, 2016 at 18:34:02 from 70.192.139.218

Allie: I don't race people. They are generally much faster or much slower. This fella had a solid stride. I let him have his day. It hurt a little :-)

Jeff: your easy pace is not old guy pace. I haven't been posting my average but this was 9:15 with a 9:50 first mile and a good deal at 9:30. I call it old guy pace for a number of different reasons, one of which is that I treat recovery runs in such a way that I can not only run workouts hard but also run until I'm old. So it's an homage to aging :-)

Just having fun with you. :)

I am at that pace a lot on my morning runs...this morning even!

From Jason D on Sun, Mar 06, 2016 at 14:34:41 from 68.80.27.222

Oh I know. Tomorrow I don't expect to break 9:30 with a good deal at 10:00-9:40. Run fast, run slow, run fairly slow, run fast. It's a pretty easy training pattern.
