Ran down 18th street and turned around in a complex and came back w/ a few detours - 12 miles, averaged 7:25. Warmed up 2 miles, then did 8 mile AT tempo, and 2 mile cool down. Splits: 7:10, 7:05, 7:05, 7:02, 6:59, 6:57, 6:54, 6:53 (7:00.6 average)

13-14 degrees with winds 13-20 mph. The sun was nice at least.

Nice work Jason - right cold weather. Don't know I would have been up for running that fast in those temps/conditions.

It was either this or 400s :) It was cold, but I dressed accordingly. Glad I got home when I did though, as the edges of my tuke were frozen next to my ears. I think I would rather have the cold than the snow, but another ten degrees wouldn't hurt. Looks like you had an excellent session as well.

Good call, that is no kind of weather for 400s! And a good tempo too, a prefect progression despite the wind. Hope it warms up soon.

Thanks, Joe. I'm off the hook. For now...Right now the extended forecast for Tuesday is 56 with showers. I think I'll do them then...shirtless.
