Am: 6 miles with Katie and Matthew before the day begins. 

 

PM: 12.2 Draper miles on the dirt roads with a good crew. Felt pretty dehydrated and heat bonked towards the end of the run. Wasn't super hot out, just feeling depleted I guess, and have been slamming the miles this weekend. Back to school tomorrow so time to get on a schedule, calling for a lot of AM runs this semester.

PM: Run around OC with Roger and Jason. Did some downhill striders 5x(.20). Need to work on leg turnover.

AM: 11 in before school. Loving this 9 am start time. Just got to get back into the routine of earlier wake up calls. Nice to have most of the miles in before the school day starts. Probably got for an extra 3-4 tonight after our Dental BBQ.

AM: Thursday mornings are the best this semester! we have whats termed "independent study" from 8-12 on thursday morning, aka: My training tempo days!and....aka free time! So I am going to bust out long tempo/mid week long runs on this day. Pretty pumped about getting most of, if not all of my daily miles in before 10:30-11 on this morning, plus I get to sleep in a little extra. Wish is nice and much needed to catch up on sleep. I should attempt studying during this time. So I got up and ran 14 mixed in with 11 around 67-68 mins, plus 5 of those miles were at 5:44 pace, nothing to brag about but havent increased the tempo much at all lately, so I will count it as something. Then took Jax for a 3 mile cool down around OC, which wasnt much of a cool down since its already 80 degrees and like 100% humidity already. Oh well what can you do, its Oklahoma!

 

PM: 4 more with Katie and matthew. Meet Chisolm a mile into the run, ran with him for the other 3. Legs feeling the need for the shakeout.

AM: Early saturday morning run around draper lake with a good crew. Back to my training routes, of long early saturday runs! Oh how I have missed them. Glad to be back on my feet and rolling early. Nice hot and muggy morning for a 20 miler in 2:18ish. Ran with Jimbo today! looked solid for the run. Finally a week over the hundo mark for me, feels good to get the training itch back.
