AM: Ran 10 miles on the river this morning. I have a love/hate relationship with the Sooner State wind. Thought since I was running east-west for most of the route that a north wind wouldnt provide much of a Headwind, mostly just a crosswind, well I was wrong. Felt like I had a headwind the whole first half running west. The nice thing about a headwind out you usually get a tailwind back. I say usually because I have had runs were it felt like I got headwinds of 20mph plus both directions. Anyways I was able to pick up the pace back to more of a moderate pace. Finishing the last 3 miles with the HR up and the pace elevated at a sub 6 pace, last two around 5:45-5:50. Was happy with my semi-spring in the legs today. Looking forward to the warmer weather towards the end of the week and the upcoming week off from the school for spring break. Finished with 6 strides for an extra half mile to tack on to the run total.

PM: Ran 7.5 with matthew around OC. Weather was too nice with windy conditions down finally. It probably sounds like im obsessed with the wind around here but HEY its Oklahoma. Averaged 730s which was a PR with the stroller. Meet up with Ian the last 2 miles of the run. SO pumped about the sun being up till 7:30 now ! Paid for the extra hour yesterday morning, but now loving this extra daylight, best time of the year.
