| I ran all 7 miles in the morning with Dad, JoJo, and Benjamin. I got a bloody nose at 2 miles. Luckily we were right by a gas station, so Dad got me something to stop the bleeding. Benjamin ran a mile pickup in 4:43. Our total time was a little under 55:00. I ran a mile with Stevie and Ashlyn later in the evening in 8:43. |

| I ran a fast mile on the track today with JoJo and Benjamin. Our first lap was 77, then we ran another 77. Whenever I run a mile on the track I feel like freaking out after about 2 laps. It's interesting because I don't feel the same running in the canyon or when I'm doing another distance. I was able to keep fairly calm though. Our next lap was 80, it was partially because Stevie was running that lap. In the last lap JoJo and I really kicked, especially in the last 200. We ran 76 for the whole lap, and somewhere around 36 for the last 200. Dad did the first 800 and the last lap. I ran 5:12.9, just missed my record. JoJo ran around 5:12 too. |

| All 7 miles with Dad, JoJo, and Benjamin. We didn't get out the door until 4:30, so we ran pretty fast so we could get home sooner. Benjamin ran a fast mile, we bet on his time. JoJo bet 4:48, Dad bet 4:47, and I bet 4:51. Dad ended up being right. Our total time was somewhere around 53:40.

| MoMo was trying to get his mile record today, it's a tradition in our family to try for a mile record the day before your birthday. MoMo ran the first 800 on pace for a record, then he slowed down a bit. He ran the mile in 6:12, so Dad had him continue to 2000. It's pretty hard to think that you're done and then run another lap. MoMo ran 1:40 for his last lap but still got a big 2000 record. We ran a mile with MiMi later. She ran 8:05, PR by 11 seconds.

| I ran 2x2 miles in the canyon today with JoJo and Dad, William ran the first interval. It was mostly clear. In the first interval, our first mile was 5:52, then we ran 5:54. Dad gave JoJo a challenge to beat William by 10 seconds in the next interval. He paced the whole way. Our first mile was on pace I think, then we started to falter a little. We were 7 seconds behind with a quarter to go. We kicked in 81 but it wasn't quite enough, and we ran a second behind 11:36. Still, it's the fastest time we've run in this workout. I wanted to go faster the whole time, but Dad told me to stay behind.
