| 4 + 3 miles today. I ran 4 in the afternoon and 3 more in the evening. It was pretty cold today, around 32 degrees. 2 miles with MoMo, JoJo, Stevie, and William in 14:53. 2 more with JoJo and Stevie in around 15:30. Later I ran 1 mile with JoJo in 7:53, then 2 more by myself in about 15:40.

| All 7 miles at once with Dad and JoJo. MoMo and Stevie started out with us and turned around at 1 mile. JoJo, Dad, and I ran a fast mile and a half on the way back. We were targeting around 6 minute mile pace with a fast 400 at the end. I felt very relaxed and the pace felt easy. I ran the last 400 in 69, JoJo was right behind me. Dad had 74. I've felt very good for the last couple of workouts at 6.

| I ran a workout today on the track. 2X800 in 2:24 with a long recovery. In the first interval we ran 70 for the first lap and Benjamin and I ran 73 for the second. I outkicked JoJo and he ran 2:26. We tried to get him to do the second interval for a while, so I got a longer recovery than I was supposed to. Anyway, in the second interval we ran 71 for the first lap and 73 for the second. The first lap felt better than in the last interval. But in the second lap my legs were really worn out. I was only a second away from my 800 PR both times, so a pretty good workout. Next time I'll see if I can make it to 1000 in 3:00. |

| 8 mile long run with a 4 mile tempo. Similar to last week, but without Chad. It was pretty cold and there was some ice in the first mile. William ran the first 1.5 and then dropped out. Our first mile was 6:07, then we ran 5:55. In the third mile we ran a little under 6:00 I think. Then we slowed down a little because JoJo was having a hard time. We ended up with 24:05. I felt pretty good. I'm excited for the Thanksgiving Race. I hope it doesn't get cancelled though. |
