10k today. I have never raced a road 10k before. Ive raced longer and shorter and it was difficult to find a good 10k pace. As a result, i didn't run as fast as i wanted, but still ended up near GHMP. Overall, got 7th, got 4th in my age group which stunk because i got passed by the 3rd place guy right at the end. It was good to get a race in though and this one was well organized and had very friendly people. Overall, a fun race, and it let me know that i have a lot to work on.

Great job on your race today! I had a race last year that i was just beat by .001 seconds and that really sucks.

Thank you! Getting beat always sucks, especially when its by such slim margins!!

Great time for the first run of the course Jacob! I should be there next year.

Thanks! I would definitely run this race again. It was well organized and I liked the people!

I think the really hard part was smelling the donuts from Donut King before and after the race.

haha definitely!

Donuts...you should have run the Krispy Kreme challenge in NC...run 2M, eat a dozen donuts, run 2M back to start! 5,500 people ran it, the winner finished in 28 minutes (ate the donuts in less than 5 minutes!). Talk about intestinal distress!

No need for my daily bowl of Colon Blow after that race!!
