2 mile warmup, 2 mile cooldown. In between threw in 5xmile repeats. Goal was to stay within 5:45-6:00. Took 2:30-3:00 breaks between each. Took a toll out of me, but i nailed the pace and had a great workout. 1- 5:55.1 2- 5:52.6 3- 5:46.8 4- 5:45.5 5- 5:39.5 Overall, felt pretty good. I am very happy that my splits got progressively faster with each repeat. Makes me feel like I got better as the workout progressed. Today was the last really hard workout before my 10 mile race next weekend. I will get one more speed day in but it will probably be lighter.
