A nice effort tonight, started out very easy, i ate a huge burrito from pancheros for lunch, so i figured an easy 7 was in store, but turns out those things power me to glory. splits tonight:

1- 7:05.2

2- 6:51.2

3- 6:58.9

4- 6:59.1

5- 6:53.6, usually slowest mile of the day

6- 6:47.6

7- 5:58.5

total-- 47:34, 6:48 avg pace, did some jogging around for another .3 or so, 19:40 over the last 3 miles, thats 6:33 avg pace, not bad for the end of a burrito day run

really upped the effort a little the last 3  miles, really was surprised to go sub-6 on this low-key effort on the last mile, kind of a nice little bonus and hopefully this means im getting in shape!

I've been running slow ie 8-9 min pace for all my miles with a couple of short sprints at the end of two runs a week. Those 5 and 6 minute miles are going to feel awful when I start the speed stuff.
