The best pace is suicide pace

In Iola Kansas for the start of the Nauvoo trip! Waited till we reached my uncle's house to run and holy moly it's sooo humid! But even more beautiful!! The green fields and trees make buckets of sweat worth it haha. The way there was more downhill so ended with more minutes. Felt great! Switching my runs around a little, so today I ran 52 min//6.5 mi.

Another great run in the humid air! Started off on their golf course then went to the same trail as yesterday! 4x1 min pick-ups felt great!! Solid run and feeling good. Heel hurts a bit, I'll try to ice it today! 75 min//9.1 mi

Ran 20 on the road today and 20 on the grass + 6 striders. Ran on the golf course for the grass part which was nice..hopefully they didn't mind haha. Felt tired from yesterday so it was nice to cool a little more. 45 min//4.85 mi

This guy named George, that talked to me yesterday about my running and where I was from, stopped me again today while on the golf course. He told me he talked to the Allen something college cross country coach about me and wanted my info. So we met again at the golf club house and I left George my info to give to the coach. So we'll see where that goes haha.

In Nauvoo now!! Did my long run today because it was the best time to do it. Felt awesome because I just love running! It was a hilly run, but it was good to push up them and work on form downhill. So pretty here, ran around the temple, to the Mississippi River, around some sites, and through some woods that led to a hidden lake so that was cool!! 70 min//8.6 mi.

One of the best runs I've ever had!! The humid actually felt really good and found a cool trail in a mini forest! It was muddy but way fun! Gonna miss running here. 50 min//6.3 mi

In Iowa now, ran on a dirt road with roller coaster hills! It hurt up the hill sometimes but it helped push me. Did 8 striders to end. Switched these striders with the Tuesday ones, sorry my runs are so mixed up! Can't wait to come back and run with the team!! 52 min/6.5 mi
