morning - decided not to run the Banker because of family Easter commitments and the need to run more before or after, so I just went out on my own in the morning.  Wendy's run with 11th extension.  A lot like yesterday.  Felt pretty good and just ran.  (Glycerin 222.1)

Met goals for the week which were to go 60 and keep a decent amount of miles for a longer time than usual leading up to the marathon.

Goals for next week: hit whatever miles come, probably around 40.  Enjoy the build up to Boston and not get too nervous.

Dave,

Enjoy the week this week and relax knowing that you will have a great time at Boston. The experience of Boston is what it is all about. Even though mine was a very painful journey I will always remember the experience. I do not know of any other race that has the amount of people lining the course the entire way. Enjoy this week and let the legs enjoy the easy running. Have fun at Boston!

The knee seems to be getting better this week so I will keep at the ice and ibuprofin for a few more days and see how things progress but things are looking better right now.

Dave,

Boston will be such a fun experience for you. I am not sure what your goals are for Boston? Most people just go to experience the traditions of Boston. And not worry about there time. The entire 26.2 miles is filled with people cheering for you. It is awesome! If you put your name on your arms or legs people will chant your name as you pass.

I have been looking at stuff on the internet about the Boston Marathon and it looks really cool. I am glad you are going. Have an awsome time!
