AM - 50 Az. Strip.  Long run with Logan.  At times I felt great... and then at others I wondered if I would finish - more when I have time.  (Later)  Did this run April 10, 2009.  At the end of that entry I said I may never do this again - yet... here I am.  It is funny how the mind works like this.  Today the mind wasn't so much the issue; it was the body.  It helped a lot to have Logan out there trudging along with me (although I feel bad because I kept us from breaking 7:00 - I was just too spent at the end.  I think mostly the reason for this was this time we ran earlier in the year and before I had more long runs under my belt.).  We switched the order of the run a little and did the Quail section first this time, which was nice to get done - especially as it ended up being a warm day.  But the wind was ripping right at us for the big climb.  The Mokiac section went real well and there was some snow and mud up top that made it fun.  But by the end of it I was starting to get worn down so I knew that Seegmiller was going to be tough.  And it was.  I was tired the whole time - the climb, the rollers on top, the way back, all of it.  I was never so happy to have a run finished in my life.  (NB 110 70).

I like how this entry reads as if it was just a casual normal run.

Great job getting in the 50!

Good job man. I talked to Logan on the phone yesterday as he was driving home. Sounded like things went about as good as it can... just one long freaking run. Recover well and let me know if your game for the regular Wednesday morning run.

I will be at Clyde's in the morning. Legs are a little sore but not terrible. How are you feeling?
