AM - 10 Wendy's w/ extension.  Ran through Middleton first today to mix it up a little.  Very warm out.  Who would imagine running shirt off at 5 AM on Oct. 31st!  Knee pain started about 2 miles like usual, but I stopped and stretched and pain stayed pretty minimal.  New pair of Stratus 2.1 (Stratus black 10)

afternoon - 4 Warm Springs w/ extension.  Got out and snagged a short run before the Halloween festivities.  Pushed Laney in the stroller.  Hadn't done that in a long time.  We had fun.  (Cumulus blue 414.4)

I just got a mini van as we only have part of varsity that are planning on going. I am close to pulling the plug on the whole trip though. All of my kids are getting extreme pressure to be at basketball full time now, which is lame since practice doesnt start until Nov. 10. Ben is still running on his own, but all of my others are just somewhat committed. I dont want to take them down there to run 18 min 5Ks. Anyways, I am going to talk to the Ath. Dir. today and then make a final decision. Its frustrating. I might still want to go down there and bring Ben or at least just check out the race and see if its something I want to make a priority in the future.

That's a bummer - it's kind of that way with most kids though (and adults!) they are less and less committed as the time comes. It's hard, though, after a long season to keep it up and keep going. I will let you know what our plan is - should be finalized and approved early next week.

Just gotta rub your weather in us notherner's faces, don't ya? ;-) Sorry about the knee pain, hope it goes away soon so you can get on a good track for LA.
