Wanted to get back on some trails, so had my son drop me off at the Burch Hollow trailhead of Pipeline and ran to the overlook, or actually, I was between Rattlesnake and ChurchFork when I needed potty break...so I ran back to Church Fork restroom only to find it Locked... SO back to nature...snow for TP isnt so bad, just a brisk wake up call. Uneventful back to the overlook except for the dead deer right by the trail near Rattlesnake...freaked me out because I almost stepped on it while lost in some tunes. To overlook and back down Rattlesnake and last 4 miles on the road to home. Felt tight by the end, but fun day out. |
