Run fast

ventured outside the gates today to run on some sandy roads in the desert. This desert, unfortunately, is covered with ATV tracks, old mattresses and gravel pits.

14 miles in Indio. Tried to find a trail but kept running into fences and golf courses. First time at the top of the leaderboard it probably 8 months! It won't last!

Ran 14 very random miles with 52ft of vertical within the golfing community. Good flat land training for the winter series.

Finally found a cool trail near Indio. The 1st mile was sandy mush but the rest was perfect singletrack over a mountain and through a river wash.

New Year's run with Scott and Matt on the parkway in Riverton. It was 4 degrees when we started with a windchill of -4. A bit chillier than California but too bad. Great to catch up with them.

Riverton Parkway run again with an even bigger group: Scott, Matt, Jon, Mike, Justin, Reed and Dan. We decided not to race because of the snow.
