Took a break from studying this afternoon. Went on a long leisurely run with a couple of classmates around Grays Lake/Des Moines metro. I forgot how nice it is to have the company of others on runs.  Tomorrow I will be attending a biomechanics and sports medicine lecture series.  One of the topics will be common running injuries - should be interesting.

The workshop was really well done. We had 3 doctors from different states that have had extensive experience working with runners. They mostly discussed biomechanics and the construct of orthotics, overuse injuries, and other sports medicine topics.
