pm: well first day back...what do you think we'd have? not 3...not 5...but a hill workout! we went over to sunrise hill which is a quarter mile long and is pretty dang steep. so with a 1.8 mile warm up we did 5 hills. times were 1:41, 1:40, 1:43, 1:42, 1:47. after the first 2 i was puking (in my mouth) and the last two were quite a struggle too. i really tired hard the last one but the time just didn't show. its alright though i did my best.
cool down i just couldn't run that fast so i fell behind and ran the whole thing by myself. not my day but hopefully it will improve as the week goes on. |

am: 3. felt pretty sick, so stayed in the back of the back.
pm: 7.5 went to green springs with a little add on for more practice on hills. still felt terrible. i ran behind the back all the way there by myself, then they waited me for me at the half way point which i am very grateful for because it helped me to finish the whole run better.
i'm glad i didn't hit this flu last week! hope i can recover from it though cause i'm sick of being sick. |

am: 3 still felt gross.
pm: were supposed to do michigans today but coached changed the workout which i am glad for cause i barely was able to do this one, which was much easier. it was 1min at I pace, 2 min, 3, 4, 3, 2, 1, latter with equal recovery and the last 15seconds on all of them were all out. all the way to the 4 min ones i felt really dizzy and couldn't even run in a straight line, but i still went at a good pace. then 3 on down i felt a little better. but afterwards on the cool down i just was sick...danget. I was glad for casey stepping it up. he did really good, and i was able to run behind him for a lot of them. |
