am: 3 miles easy. i was really sore this morning from lifting yesterday...i think it was from putting too much weight on my squats. oh well it just means i'm getting stronger, but also that i need to stretch better...and ice bathe (which i have done horribly this season)

pm: 8 1000's (total 10mi) warm up i felt a little tired, but fine. it was hot but not as bad as yesterday. splits were: 3:02, 2:56, 2:55, 2:54, 2:46, 2:46, 2:46, 2:45.

my goal time was to get sub three everyone but i was thinking 2:58 or so...first one i went solid just to see how i felt and my watch died with 200 to go so without it i slowed down too much but i was fine with the time. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th; i found a watch and i went very hard just thinking of each one and that worked very well but in the back of my mind i hoped i wasn't going too fast. after this one coach gave a good 5min speech that helped and i got to the line and everyone behind me was going faster so i went faster. last three were hard and everytime i noticed myself getting tired and sluggish i would shorten my stride i felt would instintly feel better.

overall good workout and confidence booster. Coaches birthday! he's 25 or something around there.

am: 3.25, late...again; felt soo sore and stiff. when i got back i streched and rolled like crazy. this is the first time in about 6 months that the foam roller has hurt a little bit (cause i missed a whole week!)

pm: 10.5, legs felt better but still tight hamstrings. workout was 4x2 min hard 1 min rest then 5x400's with 30sec rest. this workout was nice for me and really just got my legs moving. glad it wasn't another killer cause i was kind of tired. afterward i went over to where coach dumped the ice container and laid my legs in there for 20 min cause i knew thats the only way i'd ice them that day. looked weird to other, but felt good to me :)

well all night we took turns running a mile and playing games like soccer or ping pong and stuff. first mile i ran a 4:59 and the rest i just ran at a good pace. didn't sleep at all which i'm very proud of. coach and i also beat the 3 fiscious soccer girls :) at the end we have a dash for cash session where we run 400's. the record is a 56. (which is pretty dang fast thinking of how we stay up all night, running off and on so all of our legs are tight) i was going for it but ended with a 1:02 then a 1:01. oh well. it was really fun
