I took more time off than I was planning. Laziness always seems to get the best of me. Last wednesday (2/25) I walked with my kids to get some ice cream for them. My knee was killing me from the very first step, so I decided to take some time off from running. On Sunday I walked about half a mile and my knee felt good, but I was lazy so I gave it more time. I played basketball on Wednesday and it felt great, no pain at all for the 2 hours or so that I was playing.
Today after only 12 minutes it started to hurt again. Not bad, but I could feel it. It would be off for 5 minutes then on for about 7. This continued until I changed how I was landing on my feet. I normally land on the ball of my foot toward the big toe side (between big toe and 2nd toe). I switched to landing on the ball at about the 4th toe. The pain didn't come back at all while I was doing that.
Heres to hoping I can figure this out and not have a crappy spring of training.
