25 Medio Maraton Guadalajara

Today was a long run day. I started by jogging from home to starting point of the race, did 7 kms in this portion. Met running group just in time to do some stretching and warm up exercises.

Race in general felt fine, maybe a tad tired by then, but breathing was in control and I was not under any pressure to finish before any time. Wanted to do under two hours, crossed the finish line strong with pace under 5 min per km and clock registering about 1:57:13, but since it took over a minute (maybe two) to pass the start line in the beginning, I'm confident I did at least a 1:56, maybe even 1:55.

And was able to pull in my 28km long run ! Yay !!!
