After dealing with consistent hip injuries from my freshman year of college (2018) to my junior year (2021), I have been determined to stay injury free, and enjoy training to become the best runner I can be. Dealing with previous injuries so much taught me that persistence is key, and to never give up. Had I given up, I may never have made this log.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Finally break 15 in the 5k (on the road and on the track)

PR in an indoor 3k.

Focus on recovery and run slow on easy days.

Run consistent high-mileage weeks.

Long-Term Running Goals:

-To stay consistent, dedicated, injury-free, have fun, and get faster.

Personal:

Just concluded my sixth year of cross country at Edinboro University. I graduate with my master's in corporate communication with a focus in digital marketing in mid-january, 2024.

I am going to keep training in hopes to qualify for the olympic trials in the marathon or half-marathon someday. Until then, let's run.

AM: Just over 8 miles easy after the conclusion of my cross season a couple of days ago. Bittersweet ending to 6 years of competitive running. However, we are keeping the dream alive, one run at a time.
